Piano Trade-Ins & Valuations

At DW Music, preowned pianos are a large part of our business, and as such we are always on the lookout for good quality stock for our preowned inventory. We are also always happy to consider the trade-in of your current piano towards a new instrument, should you be interested in an upgrade to further your musicianship, or if you are perhaps downsizing.

Please be mindful that DW Music is purchasing your item(s) for the purpose of re-sale and as a result is unable to pay private market pricing. We take into account various factors when providing an offer. These factors may include;

  • the condition of the item(s)
  • the labour and parts necessary to make your item(s) saleable
  • the current market and demand of the item(s)
  • the type of item(s)

Taking these factors into account, DW Music may also decide to not accept a trade-in.
