The TV Classic is our most popular
pickup. A great choice for rockabilly, blues,
and straight-up rock. The Standard Mount is
best for most hollow-body guitars.
If you desire a pickup with more midrange, we
offer the TV Classic Plus (bridge
position only). It is wound with a thinner
wire, giving you more output and midrange
growl. To choose the TV Classic Plus, go to the
dropdown menu below and select Position: Bridge
Plus.
All TV Classic and TV Classic Plus models are
wax saturated to help eliminate microphonic
feedback. Each pickup comes with mounting
screws complete installation
instructions.
TV Classic pickups are the choice of
Brian Setzer and Reverend Horton Heat. These
humbuckers feature two rows of adjustable
polepieces, in bridge and neck position
spacings. Original 1/4"-thick Gretsch Alnico
Filtertron magnets were carefully analyzed and
reproduced. Each pickup is wax potted to help
eliminate microphonic feedback, and has a
2-conductor shielded wire. Neck model 4.0K
ohms; bridge model 4.8K ohms.
