For anyone looking for the absolute best in a digital piano, this is undoubtedly the model to go for! The CLP785 has everything that we find in the CLP775 and more, taking the authentic playing experience to an even higher level. The addition of counterweights to the GranTouch action makes this the closest replication of a grand piano action in the digital world, and a supreme speaker system with spruce cones makes the playing experience incredibly immersive. With many more instrument sounds available the CLP785 would be an ideal tool for composers, songriters and arrangers, and the extra tall cabinet and folding style lid makes this aesthetically very close to the look of a real Yamaha upright piano.

These impressive sample sounds are experienced in a truly immersive fashion thanks to the ingenious use of binaural sampling - a method of sampling in which microphones are placed on a mannequin’s head in the same positions as the pianist’s ears to capture piano sounds the way that they sound in reality.
Virtual Resonance Modelling
Technology that raises the level of authenticity in digital piano sound to another level, bringing the natural resonance of the entire piano into the sound, including sympathetic resonance of the strings, and the resonance of the duplex scaling, soundboard, and rims of the piano.
Grand Expression Modelling
