The Takamine GD93CE Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar may be small, but it rewards you with its great sound, understated good looks, and smooth playability. Grab the fast mahogany neck, strum a few chords, and revel in the clear, full-bodied richness resonating from the cutaway dreadnought-style body and scalloped X-braced solid spruce top. Plug this 6-string gem in, and experience pure amplified acoustic tone, the way it was meant to be heard. The Takamine GD93CE Dreadnought is a guitar with big attitude.

Great sound is in the details
The Takamine GD93CE Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar benefits from quality tonewoods and Takamine's painstaking attention to detail. With its scalloped X-braced solid spruce top, rosewood sides, and 3-piece rosewood/maple back, the GD93CE looks great and is tonally versatile enough to handle whatever playing style your musical mood dictates. And if you're playing out, the Takamine GD93CE Dreadnought's stage-friendly gloss finish will certainly command your audience's attention.

Takamine's TK-40D preamp system
The GD93CE Dreadnought sports Takamine's TK-40D preamp, giving you rich, clear-sounding amplified output - instantly. The TK-40D features a gain knob; a tuner; an active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble sliders; and a low battery indicator. The preamp is switched on by plugging a standard instrument cable into the endpin/strap-pin jack. Unplugging the cable turns the preamp off. The TK-40D is powered by a single 9-volt battery.
